.Net Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with an active Secret security clearance and strong expertise in Microsoft .NET development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure enterprise applications and services. This position supports the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing support within an Agile and DevSecOps environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented engineer who develops clean, maintainable code, understands complex systems, and takes a comprehensive approach to software development.



Candidates without a SECRET clearance will not be considered.

  Responsibilities

  
  


• Design, develop, and maintain applications and APIs in C# using .NET 6/8+, ASP.NET Core (MVC, Web API, Razor/Blazor), and Entity Framework Core.


• Model data and write performant queries, stored procedures, and migrations in Microsoft SQL Server.


• Build and consume RESTful services and integrate with enterprise systems and third-party APIs.


• Write unit and integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest) and support automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.


• Contribute to build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub Actions; support containerized deployments where used.


• Apply secure coding standards (OWASP Top 10) and remediate static-analysis and vulnerability-scan findings.


• Modernize and refactor legacy .NET Framework applications toward current .NET and cloud-ready architectures.


• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver fixes on schedule.


• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation.
