Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team, supporting them in processing client applications.
Manage cases between carriers and agents to ensure all underwriting requirements are fulfilled. This involves meticulously reviewing client applications to confirm that they are complete for the underwriting process.
Propose improvements to processes and technology.
Perform additional duties related to the New Business Department as assigned by the immediate manager.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in office administration is required.
Experience in the insurance industry is a strong asset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Capable of managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities effectively.
Effective problem-solving and investigative skills.
Reliable, trustworthy, proactive, with a keen sense of ownership and initiative.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Approachable and professional in delivering suboptimal information via in-person, phone, and email interactions.
Strong computer skills with a capacity to learn new systems.
Ability to handle stressful situations with a positive, proactive attitude.
Positive demeanor with an openness to constructive feedback.
Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.
