State Product Manager – Personal Lines (Remote)

$130 - $150k Base + Bonus

A leading national P&C insurer is hiring three State Product Managers to oversee Personal Lines strategy and performance for key states. This highly visible role is responsible for driving profitable growth, developing state specific product and pricing strategies, managing P&L performance, and partnering with leaders across underwriting, actuarial, claims, sales, marketing, technology, and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Own profitability, growth, and market performance for assigned state(s)
• Develop and execute product, pricing, underwriting, and distribution strategies
• Analyze financial results, market trends, competitor activity, and business performance
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement strategic initiatives
• Partner with regulators, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams to drive results
• Lead state level business planning, rate reviews, and product enhancements
• Influence key decisions impacting growth, combined ratio, and customer experience

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of Personal Lines Product Management or Underwriting experience
• Prior state management experience strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of Personal Lines products, pricing, underwriting, and state regulations
• Proven ability to manage P&L results and develop market strategies
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
• CPCU, CIC, ARM, actuarial exam progress, or similar insurance designations preferred
