This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Operations Engineer. The primary responsibility is to support data center operations teams with daily running, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including electrical systems and cooling. The role also involves collaboration with the Construction Engineering department for large-scale projects, ensuring effective design and commissioning of Mission Critical Facilities. This position will significantly impact operational efficiency and safety across all phases of facility management.
Accountabilities
- Own and manage all site level electrical and mechanical issues
- Identify and resolve issues with cross-functional teams
- Maintain all Mission Critical Data Center electrical and mechanical system design requirements
- Review and approve Method of Procedure (MOP) documents and other operational guides
- Provide technical guidance to vendor teams for issue resolution
- Offer technical support to operational personnel
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies
- Diagnose and rectify PUE anomalies
- Assist site personnel in developing yearly budgets
