Oracle Fusion Tax Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Tax Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Tax for a global Japan implementation project. The consultant will work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Order Management teams to deliver compliant tax solutions across Oracle Fusion ERP.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure Oracle Fusion Tax, including Tax Regimes, Taxes, Tax Statuses, Tax Rates, Party Tax Profiles, Tax Rules, and Tax Determination Engine.
  
• Implement Japan Consumption Tax (JCT), Qualified Invoice System, and Withholding Tax requirements.
  
• Configure indirect tax requirements for VAT, GST, and Sales Tax across global regions.
  
• Design and support integrations with external tax engines such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, or Avalara using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  
• Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis, CRP, SIT, UAT, Go-Live, and HyperCare activities.
  
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Order Management teams to ensure accurate tax calculation and compliance.
  

Requirements

Required Experience

• 6–9 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Tax or ERP Tax implementations.
  
• Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud Tax.
  
• Experience implementing VAT, GST, Sales Tax, and Japan Consumption Tax (JCT).
  
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with third-party tax engines is preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
