Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Licensed Insurance Agent to join their team. This hybrid role offers strong earning potential and the opportunity to work closely with clients while balancing in-office and remote work. The role is ideal for a motivated professional with proven experience in sales and client service within the insurance industry.

Office Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid local candidates only)

Compensation: $45,000 $60,000 plus bonus potential

Position Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and personalized service
• Provide accurate quotes, present coverage options, and close new business opportunities
• Manage renewals, endorsements, and account servicing with attention to detail and compliance
• Utilize agency systems including Epic, Quote Rush, Citizens Insurance (Easylinks), RingCentral, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
• Represent the agency at client meetings and community events in a professional manner
• Consistently meet or exceed sales and client retention goals

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Property & Casualty (P&C) license in good standing (required)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance sales or client service (P&C focus)
• Proven track record of closing new business and retaining clients
• Professional phone presence articulate, clear communicator, confident and efficient
• Presentable and professional in appearance for client-facing events
• Stable work history (no frequent job changes)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• College education preferred
• Experience working directly with Citizens Insurance in Florida
