Patient Experience Coordinator

The Patient Experience Coordinator is a vital member of the Betancourt Research Services team, focusing on enhancing patient satisfaction levels. The primary role of the PAL is to directly serve the health and clinical needs of patients, ensuring a positive experience from the start of care to the completion of the process. This position interfaces directly with patients, family members, and medical personnel, requiring exceptional communication, empathy, and discretion.

In your role as Patient Experience Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating patient care schedules with physicians and clinical personnel to ensure streamlined processes and timely services
• Managing and responding to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and compassionate manner
• Implementing patient satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and identify areas of improvement
• Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality at all times, in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Consistently demonstrating empathy, kindness, and understanding in interactions with all patients
• Providing regular updates and communication to patients and their family members on their treatment progress

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Public Health, Nursing, or Social Work
• Minimum of two years of experience working in healthcare, preferably in a similar patient-focused role
• Proficient in medical software, Microsoft Office Suite, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
• Strong empathetic skills with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to change
