We are currently seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents in a clinic-based setting.
This role may include remote work responsibilities and is subject to all current CMS vaccine mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pediatric care through physical exams, preventive health screenings, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient health needs
- Develop treatment plans, record physical findings, and communicate care plans with families
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapies including physical or inhalation therapy
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists or community health resources
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Serve as an instructor or facilitator for internal staff training and community outreach
- Maintain all licensure and continuing education requirements
- Document and close all patient visits in the electronic medical record within established timeframes
- Participate in quality improvement, peer reviews, and PCMH initiatives to meet clinical outcome goals
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise clinical support staff assigned to pediatric care
- Supervise any pediatric nurse practitioners assigned under your direction
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Minimum of two years of independent pediatric practice preferred
- Strong commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care
