About the Role

We are seeking a Performance Designer with a sharp, creative eye for high-converting e-commerce design. This is not a role for a data-first analyst or a "Figma file polisher" who builds aesthetic visuals for the sake of it.

We need a builder who understands how to sell products online. You will act as a creative force, translating customer insights and product benefits into high-throughput design assets. While you will work with split-test data and CRO principles, your primary value to the team is your ability to design compelling Product Detail Pages (PDPs), advertorials, and landing funnels that drive conversion rates and business revenue.

What You’ll Do

• Design for Performance: Serve as the core creative engine for sales volume. Design high-performing, conversion-oriented e-commerce PDPs, advertorials, and multi-step landing funnels that speak to different audience personas.


• Rapid Component Prototyping: Build and iterate variations of assets aimed at structural conversion lifts. We value speed and the ability to test new layouts over superficial design polishing.


• AI Asset Synthesis: Deeply integrate AI imagery workflows (Midjourney, ChatGPT, etc.) into your design cycle to produce rapid visual variations and accelerate throughput.


• Translate Data into Design: Collaborate with the team to understand qualitative customer data (Voice of Customer, Reddit threads, etc.) and translate those insights into actionable, sales-driven layouts.


• Collaborate on Testing: Contribute to A/B testing efforts. While we will provide the data and hypotheses, your role is to translate these into effective, high-conversion visual realities.

What You Bring

• Proven Design Portfolio: 3+ years of intensive experience in UX/UI design or growth design. You must have a portfolio that demonstrates a clear "design eye"—you know what makes a product look attractive and trustworthy to a consumer.


• DTC/E-Commerce Expertise: Deep, recent operating experience inside high-performing direct-to-consumer environments.


• Figma Masterclass: Complete structural fluency in Figma with clean, seamless developer-ready file architecture.


• AI Tool Proficiency: Active deployment of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) inside your weekly design workflow.


• Performance Mindset:
  
  
  
  • CRO Knowledge (Secondary): While we prioritize design, a basic understanding of CRO metrics (AOV, CVR, etc.) is a huge plus. We are happy to teach you the advanced performance analytics side, provided you already have the foundational design skills.
  
  
  • Ownership: An aggressive ownership mindset ("I shipped this to solve X problem") and clear, structured asynchronous communication.
  
  
  • Push-back Energy: The confidence to challenge weak creative briefs when a design won't serve the sales goal.

• No pure static ad builders (individuals whose primary experience is restricted only to building social media graphics).


• No traditional brand designers who prioritize "aesthetic trends" over functional, sales-driven performance metrics.


• No B2B or SaaS-only product designers.
