Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our creative team in a fully remote capacity. This mid-to-senior level role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in professional image editing, color correction, product photography retouching, and e-commerce visual production. You will play a key role in ensuring every image reflects the premium quality and craftsmanship that defines the GiftTree brand.

What You'll Do

• Edit and retouch high-resolution product and lifestyle photography for web, email, social media, digital advertising, and print materials.
• Perform advanced color correction, image enhancement, background cleanup, compositing, and detailed retouching while maintaining a natural, premium appearance.
• Ensure all product images meet brand, marketplace, and e-commerce quality standards.
• Optimize images for website performance without compromising visual quality.
• Collaborate closely with photographers, designers, marketers, and merchandising teams to support product launches and seasonal campaigns.
• Maintain consistency in lighting, composition, color accuracy, and brand presentation across thousands of product images.
• Organize, manage, and archive digital image assets using established workflows and file management systems.
• Review creative assets for quality assurance before publication.
• Help improve image editing workflows and recommend best practices to increase efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional photo editing or retouching experience, preferably within e-commerce, retail, luxury, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and other professional photo editing software.
• Strong understanding of color management, lighting, composition, and digital image optimization.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality across large volumes of work.
• Experience working with product photography, lifestyle imagery, and commercial marketing assets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation

$90,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
