We are inviting PhD holders, doctoral candidates, and exceptional Master’s graduates in physics and related disciplines to join a high-impact AI research initiative in collaboration with a leading artificial intelligence lab. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your subject-matter expertise toward evaluating and enhancing AI performance in complex scientific domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the scientific accuracy, conceptual rigor, and depth of AI-generated responses across various physics and engineering topics.
• Review outputs involving mathematical modeling, experimental methodologies, and theoretical frameworks.
• Identify factual errors, logical inconsistencies, and conceptual misunderstandings in AI-generated content.
• Benchmark model performance on advanced physics and applied engineering problems.
• Work independently and asynchronously using specialized evaluation tools.

Requirements

• PhD (candidate or recipient) or Master’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in graduate-level physics and mathematical reasoning.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Role Details

• Type: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)
• Location: Fully remote
• Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $20–$30 USD/hour, depending on expertise and domain experience
• Contract type: Independent contractor
• Payments: Processed weekly via Stripe Connect
