Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PowerApps Developer to join our offshore team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to re-engineer legacy applications into scalable PowerApps solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SharePoint and SQL Server, and adhering to agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex PowerApps applications with SharePoint lists and/or SQL Server as data sources.
• Rewrite and re-engineer legacy applications into PowerApps solutions.
• Address PowerApps delegation limits for apps with 5,000+ records in SharePoint.
• Integration & Automation:
• Connect multiple SharePoint lists/SQL Server tables as data sources for single Power Apps.
• Create and maintain Power Automate flows for:
• Populating/manipulating SQL Server and SharePoint data.
• Configuring custom SharePoint permissions.
• Sending custom HTML emails from group mailboxes.
• SharePoint Management:
• Develop and maintain modern SharePoint sites (including permissions).
• Create and manage SharePoint lists (views, lookup fields, choice fields, etc.).

Documentation & Communication:

• Gather and document business requirements through direct customer interactions.
• Create technical architecture and reference documentation for Power Platform solutions.
• Ensure scalable application design (e.g., configurable forms via SharePoint lists).
• Collaboration & Support:
• Work with IT analysts, end users, and subject matter experts across teams.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Power BI development and integration into SharePoint/Power Apps.
• Proficiency in web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML).

Qualifications & Experience

• Work Experience: 3-10 years in PowerApps development and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Education: Professional degree (e.g., Analyst or related field).
• Certifications: PowerApps, SharePoint, Power Automate, MS Flows, MS Forms.
• Language: Advanced English (written/verbal) for client communication.

Technical Skills:

Skill Proficiency PowerApps Development Advanced Power Automate Advanced SharePoint Design Advanced SQL/Database Management Medium Power BI Medium MS Office Medium JavaScript/jQuery/CSS/HTML Preferred

Additional Requirements

• Experience in agile/scrum methodologies and SDLC phases (analysis, design, testing, deployment).
• Knowledge of business process modeling, change management, and data migration.
• Ability to create scalable, data-driven applications with configurable logic.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration, preferably in the banking sector.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Flexcube, Cloudera Data Platform, Hadoop, Hive, and Impala.

Proven experience in managing and optimizing Hadoop clusters.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certification in Hadoop administration or related fields is a plus.
