Job Description - Principal AI and Cloud Architect

Description
As a Cloud and AI Architect, you will play a pivotal role in identifying business opportunities, defining technical requirements, and collaborating with sales and product teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your technical prowess, especially in routing, switching, and AI, will be key to engaging with highly technical customers and driving the success of our cloud-based offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with key cloud accounts to understand their business needs and pain points, and translate these into technical requirements.
  • Engage in co-development activities, collaborating with internal teams and customers to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Lead architecture-level discussions with technical customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of IP networking, optics, and AI technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and AI to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to sales teams, helping them position our products effectively in the market.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to the team, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous growth.
  • Collaborate with product teams to define and refine product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.


Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar product or customer-facing role, preferably in the cloud computing or AI industry.
  • Strong technical background, with expertise in routing, switching, and AI technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead architecture-level discussions and provide technical guidance to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving successful outcomes in complex projects.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
