Position Overview

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead complex public infrastructure design projects from conception to completion
• Develop comprehensive grading, drainage, water/sewer, and public improvement plans
• Create detailed technical specifications and engineer's estimates
• Ensure compliance with San Diego County regulations and design standards
• Guide and mentor junior engineering staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of public works/land development design experience
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong knowledge of San Diego County codes and standards
• Exceptional project management and communication skills
