• Hybrid schedule – Remote work possible, can also work 100% in office if desired

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be:

• Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent


• Unafraid to meet new people, understand their situation, and help them take the right steps to be protected


• Motivated by leadership and positive pressure, you’re the player who wants to take the game-winning shot


• A continual learner


• Comfortable using computers and software as a competitive advantage

As a Personal Lines Producer at Highstreet Ottawa Kent, you’ll be expected to:

• Write New Personal Lines Business – Home, Auto, Umbrella, Life, additional lines


• Share technical expertise about insurance and risk management, matching client needs with products and coverages


• Complete day-to-day sales activities – prospecting via phone, networking, email, meetings, and any other ways to create leads for yourself


• Provide service to your book of business – endorsements, questions, claims, policy reviews. Producers who grow their book large enough are given servicing help so they can continue to spend 80% of their time selling new business.


• Develop a niche or expertise that allows you to hit growth goals year over year
