WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Instructional Design Assistant to serve as the right hand to our Director during the initial analysis and design phases of technical training. You should have a foundational understanding of the industrial world, perhaps as a former technician, maintenance assistant, or industrial consultant. You need to know your way around a factory floor and understand the basic systems that keep a facility running.
Because this role focuses on the first phases of the ADDIE process, you must have a solid grasp of instructional design principles. You will be responsible for taking raw technical data and organizing it into a logical plan for learning. Finally, you should be an AI-First thinker. You will use tools like Gemini to speed up mundane tasks so you can spend more time on the creative architecture of our curriculum. To succeed here, you must be business-minded within our mission focus and excel in supporting high level design that meets the expectations of our national advanced manufacturing partners.
