They shape how we work every day, our relationships with clients, and the way we collaborate as a team.As a Technical Product Owner within the Fadata Product Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Core Insurance Product. We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise across transversal topics (e.g., security, performance, scalability, integration) who can translate business and technical needs into well-defined product features, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
Reporting to the Director of Strategy, Product & Ecosystem, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Software Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Architects, and key stakeholders, to drive the development and continuous improvement of our core insurance platform. Your insights and leadership will help us deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions in the ever-evolving insurance landscape.
Own the Teams Backlog (x2 teams): Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Insurance Domain Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of insurance processes, regulations, and products to influence product development decisions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the business, customers, and development teams to gather requirements, define user stories, and ensure successful product outcomes.
Vision & Roadmap Execution: Support the Product Manager in defining the product vision and roadmap, translating high-level strategies into actionable tasks.
Agile Champion: Advocate for Agile principles and lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Requirements Gathering: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product enhancement.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and deliver measurable business value.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to product delivery and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Insurance, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of insurance operations and products
Proven experience in agile product development, working and managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Excellent ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and familiarity with backlog management techniques.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
