Job Description - Product Owner

This is a remote position.

At Prehos, we are breaking ground in the pre-hospital sector with innovative SaaS solutions that transform how care is delivered. We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Product Owner to oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch. This role will define and prioritize product features, manage user stories, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software that aligns with the company’s vision and customer needs. Responsibilities

Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including market research, strategic planning, and execution.

Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.

Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback, understanding needs, and addressing technical challenges.

Define and prioritize product features based on customer needs, market insights, and business objectives.

Write user stories and create detailed product requirements to guide the development team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and sales, to deliver top-quality products.

Monitor key product metrics and leverage data to inform decisions on product development and feature optimization.

Conduct competitive analysis and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new opportunities for product growth.

Perform user research to refine product strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant training in IT project management or Agile practices.

At least six years of experience in a Product Owner role within Agile environments or equivalent experience in web/software application development.

Experience using project management tools like JIRA.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and French.

Assets

Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, IT project management).

Relevant certifications such as PMI, PMP, CSPO, PMI-ACP, PSPO, CSM, or SAFe.

Knowledge of design thinking and UX/UI best practices.

Experience in business analysis.

Familiarity with Zoho One.
