What You'll Do

The Project Manager & Operations Support, Medical Affairs will play a critical role in enabling efficient, high-impact execution of Medical Affairs activities across the Skeletal Dysplasia and Endocrinology franchises. This individual will serve as the operational backbone of Medical Affairs, supporting planning, tracking, governance, and cross-functional coordination across evidence generation, field medical, publications, congresses, advisory boards, and early access programs (EAPs).

 

This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive operator who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed rare-disease environment and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex medical programs

 

Responsibilities


  • Oversee vendor and contract management, including MSAs, SOWs, consulting agreements, and advisory board contracts in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Finance, ensuring timely execution, vendor performance tracking, and adherence to budget and compliance requirements.
  • Support Medical Affairs governance, planning, reporting, and review processes while maintaining audit-ready documentation, tracking key deliverables.
  • Develop and improve operational processes, tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that enhance efficiency, visibility, scalability, and overall operational excellence across the organization..
  • Facilitate regular Medical Affairs planning, prioritization, and progress review meetings
  • Maintain standardized tools, templates, and trackers across franchises
  • Provide operational support for medical congress presence (planning timelines, deliverables, follow-ups)
  • Support logistics, documentation, and post-meeting outputs for advisory boards
  • Support Medical Affairs budget planning, tracking, and forecasting, track vendor contracts, SOWs, and invoices in partnership with finance and procurement
  • Ensure alignment of spend with approved medical plans and priorities
  • Help scale Medical Affairs operations as teams grow across QED and Calci
  • Manage Medical Affairs budgets, forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting while monitoring spend, identifying budget risks and opportunities, supporting annual strategic planning and resource allocation.

 

Where You'll Work

This is a U.S.-based remote role that will require quarterly, or as needed visits to our San Francisco Office.


 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MPH, MS, PharmD, PhD) a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs operations, project management.
  • Experience supporting Medical Affairs in biotech or pharmaceutical settings, preferably in rare disease
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.

•       Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Teams, SharePoint)

•       Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and vendor oversight processes.

•       High attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in matrixed teams
  • Comfort working with ambiguity in a fast-growing organization

Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.
