Property Accounting Analyst Real Estate (REIT)

Job Description:

Our client, a well known hedge fund in Midtown, NY, is looking to add a Real Estate Accountant to their team!

This person will be responsible for the reviewing financial reporting packages, analyzing and interpreting loan and operating agreements, and assisting the investment team with the gathering and analysis of real estate valuations.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years' experience working for a public accounting or real estate/real estate fund, strong property and real estate accounting knowledge, and the ability to start working remotely

Job Responsibilities:

• Review monthly financial reporting packages
• Reconcile capital activity from different investments
• Gather and support valuations for different funds'
• Interpret various agreements: loan agreements, management agreements, partnership agreements, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of experience within a similar position
• Prior Real Estate Investment Trust experience is a must

Compensation:

• $90,000 - $105,000
