PursueCare is actively recruiting Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) who are interested in joining our team of fully integrated clinicians. Our team includes physicians, psychiatrists, therapists and counselors. Valid professional licenses in the states of West Virginia and Kentucky are highly preferred.

Overview:

• Work in collaboration with a highly competent team of medical professionals providing care to the underserved population via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.


• Conduct live and interactive clinical evaluations and assessments via secure telehealth technologies.

Education & Experience:

• Hold a valid nurse practitioner license in accordance with the regulations of the state where the patient is located, or in the process of obtaining such license.


• National certification in mental health/psychiatry.


• One (1) year experience prescribing psychiatric medications in an inpatient or outpatient setting is preferred.


• Prior experience in substance use treatment and MAT prescribing preferred.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

• Must be able to become credentialed and enrolled with Medicare, Medicaid and other payers as necessary.


• Must have a quiet and professional uninterrupted space in which to provide private, quality, reliable, and consistent services to patients, rooted in addiction treatment and practice.


• Ability to self-direct, manage schedule, and adhere to professional standards of conduct.


• Complete documentation in accordance with applicable healthcare standards in a professional and timely manner.


• Must agree to maintain computer and internet accessibility as these are essential to providing telehealth services.
