Position: Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Hybrid (Ocassional on-site face to face visits required)
Job Description: As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with our clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care to individuals in West Springfield, Massachussets. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Your responsibilities will include medication management, psychotherapy, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
In addition to providing direct patient care, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative telehealth programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing access to mental health services. Your commitment to delivering compassionate care and your ability to connect with patients remotely will be essential to the success of our telehealth clinic.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatry/Mental Health
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Massachusetts
- DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
- Proficiency in telehealth technology and platforms
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and collaborate with a virtual team
