As we aim to expand our reach and influence, we are in search of an innovative and proactive Public Relations Manager to boot up our media relations and public engagement strategies. This role demands a dynamic blend of strategic communication skills and creativity, as you will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives about our brand, managing our media relations, and amplifying our presence through impactful public engagements.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and execute strategic public relations plans to enhance brand visibility and market presence focused on our consumer market
• Craft compelling press releases, pitches, and other media materials that reflect our brand’s innovation and market leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a regular basis.
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests, and act as the brand spokesperson when required.
• Create content for speeches, articles, and other executive-level communications.
• Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to ensure brand consistency in all public communications.
• Organize and manage public events, press conferences, and promotional events to increase brand awareness and loyalty.
• Stay up-to-date with PR and industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communication strategies and practices.
  

• Existing network preferrable or the ability to build one as required
• Proven experience as a Public Relations Manager or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft and convey clear, persuasive, and original messages.
• Strong understanding of media operations and digital media strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with media and influencers.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of current industry trends and the PR landscape.
• Experience in crisis management and response planning.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
