# Python Developer (Gurgaon/Remote)

Insignia Recruit is currently seeking a talented and experienced Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play a critical role in our ongoing projects, which require excellent skills in writing, testing, and maintaining robust code. As the ideal team player, you will contribute to the various stages of web development while ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. This position is based in Gurgaon but can also be filled remotely.

## Responsibilities:

- Write clean, manageable, and efficient Python code.
- Test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability.
- Work collaboratively within a team to develop and refine products.
- Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Participate in web development projects with an emphasis on the backend.
- Manage and optimize databases for high performance and scalability.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage code versioning.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for software solutions.
- Handle the deployment and maintenance of applications across various environments.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with front-end applications and other systems.
- Work with cloud-based infrastructure, primarily AWS, to ensure resource availability and scalability.

## Mandatory Skills:

- Proficiency in Python with a strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience with Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
- Capability to build and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Extensive knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Clickhouse, Redshift, DocumentDB, and/or Vitess.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, especially AWS.

## Desirable Skills:

- Excellent communication skills.

## Education Level:

- Any Graduate.

## Experience:

- Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.

## Notice Period:

- Candidates should have an immediate to 60-days notice period.
