Remote QA Engineer/Tester (UI)

A large bank/ financial company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a QA Engineer/ Tester to help with manual and automated UI testing. This is a contract opportunity through the end of the year with the potential for extensions. This position is remote but MUST work EST hours and must be open to occasional onsite travel to Cincinnati area.

This individual will be joining an Agile squad helping to develop react and react components for a customer facing application that is one of the largest growing products of the Bank. This individual will play a pivotal role in testing the components of the user interface and their work will directly impact the user experience, ensuring that our applications are easy to maintain and robust. They'll collaborate closely with their smaller-scale team and must be an independent worker.

Required Skills & Experience

* 3-5 years in QA Engineering/ Testing with both manual and automated UI testing for web, single-page applications

* Experience writing manual QA test suites, regression tests, smoke tests

* Experience building UI/UX automated tests in Cypress/Playwright

* Experience writing unit tests in Jest

* Ability to code in JavaScript, TypeScript, or React (all three would be preferred)

* Understanding of latest React/Redux testing practices
