Job Title: Qlik Replicate Administrator

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Qlik Replicate Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and supporting the Qlik Replicate environment, ensuring efficient and accurate data replication across various databases and platforms. The Qlik Replicate Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices to ensure the smooth functioning of data replication processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Qlik Replicate Configuration and Management:
   
   
   
   • Install, configure, and maintain Qlik Replicate software.
   
   
   • Design and implement data replication strategies based on business requirements.
   
   
   • Monitor and manage replication tasks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
   
   
   
   


2. Performance Optimization:
   
   
   
   • Proactively identify and resolve performance issues to optimize data replication processes.
   
   
   • Implement best practices for improving the efficiency of Qlik Replicate operations.
   
   
   • Work closely with database administrators to ensure optimal database performance.
   
   
   
   


3. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
   
   
   
   • Monitor replication processes, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
   
   
   • Collaborate with support teams to resolve technical problems related to Qlik Replicate.
   
   
   • Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health of replication processes.
   
   
   
   


4. Security and Compliance:
   
   
   
   • Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data during replication.
   
   
   • Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
   
   
   • Perform regular audits to verify data integrity and security.
   
   
   
   


5. Documentation and Training:
   
   
   
   • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Qlik Replicate configurations and processes.
   
   
   • Provide training and support to end-users and other IT teams on Qlik Replicate functionality.
   
   
   
   


6. Collaboration:
   
   
   
   • Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and other IT teams to integrate Qlik Replicate into the overall data architecture.
   
   
   • Work closely with vendors to stay updated on the latest features, updates, and patches.

   • Utilize Attunity Compose for data integration and management tasks.
   
   
   • Design and implement data replication and synchronization solutions using Attunity Compose.
   
   
   
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• Proven experience as a Qlik Replicate Administrator or in a similar role.


• In-depth knowledge of data replication concepts and strategies.


• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.


• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Knowledge of data security and compliance.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Qlik Replicate certification.


• Experience with other data integration tools.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).


• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
