Quality & Test Specialist - Hybrid

We currently have a vacancy for a Quality & Test Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Design the test strategy;
• Create, design and maintain test plans;
• Develop test acceptance criteria;
• Manually execute test cases across different platforms;
• Prepare and plan the test environments;
• Log any defects and propose potential improvements;
• Generate requisite documentation to support quality management activities;
• Select and develop integration testing techniques to ensure the system meets requirements;
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on project requirements;
• Perform regression, functional, integration, system, smoke, and exploratory testing as required;
• Document test results, log defects, and prepare test summary reports.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Excellent experience with testing and Web technologies (such as ASP.NET, PHP, NodeJS);
• Excellent experience with testing procedures and platforms;
• Excellent experience with integration/API testing;
• Excellent experience with quality and risk management procedures;
• Excellent experience with producing relevant testing documentation;
• Excellent experience with designing and maintaining test plans as well as developing test acceptance criteria;
• Excellent command of the English language.

Offsite: 340 max daily eur/day (including your rate)

-Location: The role would be performed in Hybrid mode with 90% offsite and 10% onsite presence in Valetta, Malta.
