Tell me About My Job:

As the Recruiter at Gravitate, you’ll take ownership of the entire hiring process. You’ll partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, build sourcing strategies, evaluate candidates, coordinate interviews, manage offers, and help guide people through onboarding. You’ll be accountable not just for filling roles, but for creating a candidate experience that is clear, thoughtful, and reflective of Gravitate’s high-trust, high-autonomy culture.

You’ll build strong relationships across the organization, bring structure to hiring decisions, and continuously look for ways to improve our sourcing, interview process, and recruiting operations. Reporting to the People Services Manager, the Recruiter plays a key role in scaling Gravitate's remote-first workforce while upholding the company's high-trust, high-autonomy culture. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from intake through offer acceptance. 
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, build job descriptions, and align on candidate profiles. 
• Source active and passive candidates using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and other talent channels. 
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidate fit for skills, experience, and culture. 
• Coordinate interview schedules and logistics for hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience. 
• Guide hiring managers through structured interview processes and debrief discussions to support consistent, fair evaluations. 
• Extend and negotiate offers in partnership with the People Services Manager, balancing candidate expectations with internal equity. 
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the applicant tracking system. 
• Track and report on recruiting metrics such as time to fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness. 
• Champion Gravitate's employer brand through job postings, candidate communication, and outreach. 
• Support the onboarding handoff to ensure new hires transition smoothly from offer to start date. 
• Maintain onboarding playbooks and coordinate first week schedules to ensure new hires have a structured, welcoming start. 
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the People Services Manager. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• 4-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting for a SaaS or software company. 
• Strong sourcing skills across job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other talent channels. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Gravitate professionally to candidates. 
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions and shifting priorities simultaneously. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in tracking candidates and requisition data. 
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential candidate and compensation information. 
• Comfortable operating independently in a remote-first environment. 

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered. 
• Experience using an applicant tracking system and other recruiting technology.
