Reporting Analyst

Position Purpose:

Interprets data. Supports research teams to produce valuable insights from data.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with project staff on data collection and analysis methods.


• Collects report specifications from project staff.


• Manages data collection and data quality of Electronic Data Capture System projects.


• Develops reports, charts, graphs and tables using data from several data sources including Electronic Data Capture System, SQL databases, SAS datasets, Microsoft Excel files.


• Combines process data and outcome data from various databases into a single report.


• Creates custom reports to help project staff and customers understand trends in project outcomes.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in statistics, epidemiology, economics, mathematics or related discipline

•  Additional data analysis experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree on a year per year basis. (Experience requirements may be satisfied by full-time experience or the prorated part-time equivalent.)

Experience

• One (1) year experience with data analysis and/or data reporting


• One (1) year experience with data visualization programs such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics or similar data visualization software


• Collecting data in Electronic Data Capture System, preferred


• Power Query, preferred


• Advanced Excel, preferred


• Resided in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years out of the last five (5) years (Per Contract)
