Job Description:

We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about helping people secure their financial futures. As a Retirement Specialist, you will assist LAUSD employees in understanding their pension options, benefits, and financial strategies to ensure a smooth transition into retirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate LAUSD employees on their retirement benefits, including CalSTRS and CalPERS.
  

• Provide personalized consultations to help clients create a retirement plan that fits their needs.
  

• Assist with paperwork and the retirement application process.
  

• Use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar) and other digital tools to manage client interactions and documentation.
  

• Stay informed on retirement policies and changes that impact LAUSD employees.
  

• Conduct virtual or in-person meetings at your convenience.
  

Qualifications:

• Strong desire to help people retire with dignity and confidence.
  

• Comfortable using Google Workspace, email, and other online applications.
  

• Excellent communication and people skills.
  

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  

• No prior financial or retirement planning experience required—training provided!
