Job Description - Sales Director

THE ROLE

Are you an evangelist for increasing integration and access to early-stage research in the Scholarly Communications Community? Do you love to build amazing relationships and partnerships? Are you commercially minded?
If so we're looking for someone just like you to play a key role in helping us build amazing partnerships, develop new commercial opportunities, and help us fulfill our mission!

Responsibilities: 
  • Work with the SVP of Sales & CEO to develop and execute Morressier's Business Development Strategy - especially in the enterprise space
  • Represent Morressier and act as our voice at key events & conferences
  • Lead projects cross-functionally with Sales, marketing, and in particular the Product Team to ensure we are maximizing all key growth opportunities
  • Work with clients to understand the desire for new solutions, whilst sharing the latest innovations Morressier is developing with key Scholarly Communities
  • Play an active role in supporting the wider Revenue & Marketing team

  • Excellent communicator, whether presenting or written
  • Self-starter with a track record of exceeding expectations
