We are growing and looking for a full-time employment of an energetic and experienced Sales Engineer. This newly created role in our America Commercial Organization will focus primarily on growing Optinova’ s medical business in the USA for our key markets cardiovascular, infusion technology and endoscopy. This role will work from remote office and report to the VP of Sales, Optinova Americas, Inc. Sales Engineer is responsible for Execution and implementation of projects of great impact for the organization, related to customer experience in using our product and improvements in the company's productivity. Analysis and solution of critical problems for the operation. Provides technical support on complex problems to extrusion process and production area technicians. Responsible for the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.
Sales Engineer role and responsibilities:
Supports commercial team during project development work.
Perform as a project leader – implement & maintain Development Transfer Control
Understand our extrusion process and limitation to collaborate with customer’s production on new processes and product assembly.
Extrusion & Assembly Expertise: Develop and refine processes for extrusion and medical device assembly, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Product Quality: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards and assist in troubleshooting any issues related to production processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operation and product delivery.
Training & Support: Work with customer production staff on new and improved processes and provide ongoing technical support to ensure satisfactory of product usage.
Collaborates with Quality, Supplier Development Manufacturing Operations, and Marketing departments.
Ensures alignment across sites to harmonize operations and site-to-site transfer of knowledge, process, Technology and good practices as applicable.

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in medical device manufacturing (catheter), with good understanding of extrusion or medical device assembly.
Experience with process validation and product testing methodologies.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge / fluency of other international languages is a plus.
The ability to work well both autonomously and within a group setting.
Be able to travel regularly in USA and Internationally as needed. Must have Passport.

Salary Range:
$80k-$130k salary per year. Full benefit package available (medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, Life, Aflac).
