Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IM/WM Specialist with an active DoD security clearance to provide expert-level guidance in the development, configuration, and implementation of SAP Inventory Management and Warehouse Management solutions. This role is pivotal in supporting functional processes, system integrations, and user requirements in a high-security, defense-focused environment. The candidate will ensure seamless operations and compliance through hands-on SAP system support and design leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and validate business requirements related to SAP IM/WM.
• Configure and support SAP Inventory Management and Warehouse Management functionalities, including:
• Inbound processing
• Radio Frequency (RF) transactions
• Quality Inspection
• Pack and Pass processes
• Serial Number and Batch Management
• Handling Units
• Transportation and Shipping Management
• Lead the design of system interfaces, data conversion programs, reports, and enhancements.
• Support SAP application incidents and troubleshoot system issues to maintain system stability.
• Ensure successful integration with related SAP modules such as CO, FM, FI, SD, and MM.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process flows, test cases, and user guides.
• Assist in data migration activities and end-user training as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience with a focus on Inventory and Warehouse Management.
• Deep expertise in core IM/WM functions including RF transactions, serial and batch tracking, and transportation logistics.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience integrating SAP IM/WM with financial and logistics modules (CO, FM, FI, SD, MM).
• Previous work on federal government projects, ideally within the Department of Defense.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical, engineering, business, or scientific field.
• Substitutions: An associate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or 4 years of additional hands-on experience may be accepted in place of a bachelor’s degree.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.

Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years of focused SAP IM/WM implementation and support experience.
• Knowledge of decentralized SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and integration with core IM/WM.
• Familiarity with hazardous material (HazMat) compliance and embedding safety protocols into SAP workflows.
• Experience with Agile delivery methods and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Understanding of Navy ERP systems and DoD IT architecture.
• Knowledge of change management practices and procedures within enterprise environments.
