Scientific Consultant (m/f/d) in Quantum Computing Start-Up

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated expert in Quantum Software Engineering or Quantum Machine Learning to deliver innovative quantum computing solutions for our customer projects. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting project delivery by developing advanced quantum software solutions and you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create cutting-edge quantum applications that meet our clients' needs.

• Develop and implement quantum computing solutions for customer projects across all industries
• Support project delivery in quantum software development and quantum machine learning
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to drive projects forward
• Contribute to the advancement of quantum computing algorithms and methodologies
• Utilize classical and quantum programming techniques to solve complex computational problems
• Engage in scientific research and development to enhance quantum computing applications

• Completed studies in Physics, Mathematics, Computational Science, or a related field or comparable qualifications
• A robust and diverse skill set in quantum computing, e.g. in quantum information science, quantum algorithm design, numerical simulations, tensor network simulations, error mitigation techniques or quantum machine learning
• Strong experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit or Pennylane, and proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with scientific computing and scalable database systems, cloud computing, and API development
• Proven experience in project management

• Excellent command of English is necessary and German is a big plus
