We are currently hiring a QMS and Regulatory Compliance Lead.  This specialized position ensures quality excellence and regulatory compliance for trait introgression operations in Nampa, Idaho. Working within established frameworks, the role implements quality management systems and maintains regulatory requirements aligned with USDA and EPA guidelines. Supporting both site-specific and regional initiatives, this position executes quality assurance protocols for R&D and operations through effective document control, change management, and training coordination. The role is instrumental in maintaining compliance standards while supporting innovation in trait development through systematic quality control and documentation practices.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality management system for the Trait Conversion Accelerator, including standardization of protocols, procedures, and training materials.
• Manage regulatory compliance and serve as primary liaison with internal/external regulators during audits, particularly for plant material management.
• Direct the quality assurance program, including conducting internal audits, managing non-conformities, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee employee training programs and maintain documentation, ensuring all staff are current with regulatory and stewardship requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Quality Management Systems and Stewardship for regulated activities, supporting multiple sites across the NA region.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences).
• 5+ years of experience in quality management and regulatory compliance roles.
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and Stewardship (e.g., ETS, ISO 9001, GMP, GLP) preferred.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of Seeds trait conversions.
• Experience with audit processes and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication tailored to diverse audiences and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
