Mediafly is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong accounting processes, and supporting the growth of our SaaS business. You’ll own critical month-end activities, drive process improvements, and partner cross-functionally to provide clarity on financial performance. What You’ll Do:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and treasury activities
- Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policy
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Code and reconcile credit card transactions
- Analyze variances and provide insights into key financial drivers
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to strengthen internal controls
- Collaborate with other members of the accounting team to support department objectives
- Work on special projects and reporting as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and cash management
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Intacct, Intuit, Xero, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively across teams
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced remote environment
$85,000 - $95,000 a year
