Senior Android Developer

Join our dynamic team to drive the evolution of our Unified Endpoint Management Software. 
As an Android Developer you will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting mobile solutions for the Enterprise Mobility Management platform Matrix42 Silverback. 
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and enterprise mobility standards, as well as a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Google services for Android Enterprise, and secure network integration.

Technology stack
Kotlin 1.9+, JDK 17, Android SDK 34, Knox SDK 3.10, Gradle 8.5, Jetpack Components, APIs (REST).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Write clean, scalable code, remain up to date with concepts and best practices
• Create new features; revise, update, refactor existing code
• Develop technical specifications, design documentation and architecture
• Participate in requirements analysis; assist POs, PMs in defining requirements and explain the capabilities and limitations of various systems
• Test and deploy developed code, providing technical support
• Coordinate with other software professionals and developers

Must have:
• Familiar with the Android Platform from user perspective
• Min. 3 years' experience in native Android Development / Proven software development experience and have published at least one Android app
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android (API-Level), and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform solving it by using Java and Kotlin
• Working in AndroidStudio
• Strong skills in git scm and git-flow
• Responsible to Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work with outside data sources and APIs/Rest-APIs
• Experience with Android DPC
• Experience with third-party libraries
• Experience in Scrum as a Dev-Team Member and Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new
Nice to have:
• Experience with native iOS apps, either Objective-C or Swift.
