Job Description - Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d)

As one of our first Senior Engineers, you’ll define the backend roadmap, architecture, design, and development of our platform using object-oriented principles and best practices.
Ensure backend systems are robust, scalable, secure, and optimized for high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver backend solutions aligned with product and business requirements.
Seek opportunities for technological innovation and product enhancements, actively collaborating with key external partners to broaden our product offerings.
Mentor junior team members and lay the foundation of our engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

You bring 3+ years of experience in Software Development (ideally in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment)
You enjoy all aspects of building a product from scratch. You love discussing solutions for customer challenges just as making them a reality.
Taking full responsibility for the features you create, you ensure thorough testing and smooth deployment.
You bring technical expertise in Python and building scalable microservice architectures.
Your code is reusable, well-tested and ready to be shipped directly to our customers.
You are fluent in English.

Take the opportunity to help shape a growing start-up from the ground up and have a measurable impact on the early development of our product.
Build up a solution disrupting the whole market of processing supply chain documents in conservative industries such as construction.
Work with a team experienced both in product development and our target industries.
