Our Brussels teambrings together curiosity-driven consultants with various methodological expertise and skills, from evaluation to economics and data science. We deliver a wide range of projects across the European Commission, including DG RTD, DG CNECT, DG EAC, DG COMM, DG ENV and DG CLIMA. Much of our work focuses on supporting evidence-based analysis and evaluation of EU Regulations, Programmes and Policies.
We are seeking an experienced evaluator to join our dynamic Brussels team as Senior Consultant. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our portfolio of evaluations, impact assessments and studies, using a range of theory-based evaluation methods. As part of a growing team of 50 colleagues, your work will primarily focus on EU policies in areas related to Research & Innovation and its links with industrial and digital policies.You will play a key role in both business development and project delivery, from designing robust methodologies to producing high-quality reports. You will mentor and contribute to the development of our talented team of consultants, fostering growth and excellence.
Applicants suitable for this Senior Consultant position should have:
Minimum five (5) yearsof professional experience in evaluation and/or impact assessment following the European Commission Better Regulation Guidelines, with a good knowledge of EU policies, preferably in the areas of industry, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Strongproject management skills, including the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellentanalytical skills, with the ability to design and conduct rigorous evaluations and draw insightful conclusions from data.
Excellentcommunication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise evidence-based reports and deliver engaging presentations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members from diverse backgrounds, and able to deliver tasks under tight deadlines, with a problem-solving mindset.
A previous experience working in a consultancy firm is preferable.
Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential and fluency in other European languages is considered an asset.
Designing and delivering evaluations, impact assessments and policy studies, including writing and presenting reports and deliverables in a compelling manner.
Contributing to the management of projects and teams and supporting the qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
Supporting business development by identifying market opportunities and contributing to tenders’ preparation.
Establishing and maintaining good client relationships.
Helping to grow our evaluation practice, including through the design of robust and innovative methodologies.
