Your profile

What you will be doing:

Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Developers and Data Engineers to understand, design and improve data platform capabilities.
Build and optimize robust, scalable data pipelines, ETL and ELT processes
Architect, build and optimize cloud data platform foundation.
Architect, build and optimize machine learning and AI based services.
Integrate and manage diverse data sources.
Mentor and lead junior engineers.
Lead design and implementation of best practices

What we need from you:

5 - 10 years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Data or Analytical Engineer.
Strong craftsmanship in Python and SQL.
Experience owning/maintaining/improving analytical data modeling practices using tools like dbt.
Experience owning/maintaining/improving ETL processes.
Very good database knowledge (database design and programming), e.g. PostgreSQL.
Practical knowledge of the Azure data stack is highly beneficial (Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, etc.)

What will make you stand out:

Familiarity with Microservice paradigms and related technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker and REST API’s.
Proficiency in Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
1-2 years of hands-on production grade Snowflake experience including architecture design, query and cost monitoring and optimization.
Experience with development and deployment of machine learning and AI models
