Job Description - Senior Database Developer/Modeler

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Database Developer/Modeler
Location: Remote
Department: State/City level work
Type: Full Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain systems to store, organize, and access data.
Perform computer programming, software engineering, and data architecture and management.
Analyze an organization’s data management, input, and security needs.
Design tools that support data access and information security.
Develop Structured Query Language (SQL) databases for a wide variety of applications and business uses.
Write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention.
Perform regular database management duties, including backups an audits to ensure that SQL databases remain accessible, secure, and stable.

Required Skills and Experience
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio. Experience with SQL Server 2014/2016/2019, SQL Server Data Tools, and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. Experience with Power BI.

Formal Education	Bachelor’s degree or higher
