Accountabilities
- Lead the architecture of firewall solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
- Define standards and design patterns for Palo Alto firewalls
- Collaborate with teams to embed firewall controls into application designs
- Engineer and deploy Palo Alto Networks firewalls with Managed Services vendors
- Design security policy frameworks and traffic flows for hybrid environments
- Oversee operational standards for firewall management and change control
- Ensure alignment with security regulations and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Deep experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (physical and virtual)
- Expertise in designing firewall architectures in on-premises data centers
- Proven background in architecting firewall solutions in AWS and Azure
- Advanced understanding of network segmentation and security zoning
- Experience operating firewall platforms at an enterprise scale
- Knowledge of routing, NAT, and traffic inspection architectures
- Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery designs
