Role Overview

Rahal is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Frontend to ensure that our applications are designed and implemented to the highest standards in order to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction and smooth operation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable, clean, testable, efficient, secure, maintainable, and well-documented solutions within deadlines.
• Help in selecting technologies, stacks, architectures, and designs that serve the business needs and ensure efficiency throughout the entire software lifecycle.
• Take part in regular performance and error monitoring analysis activities, identifying user pain-points proactively, and recording as technical debt.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure the best integration between our backend, frontend, CICD, and infrastructure
• Identify technical debt proactively and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintaining and developing your knowledge about software development, and supporting/mentoring other developers.
• Conduct code reviews for peers to enhance code quality, ensure adherence to standards, and improve overall code standards.
• Contribute to improving the status quo in workflow, software quality, documentation, developer productivity, and all aspects of our engineering department.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of experience in Software Engineering or adjacent fields.
• 3+ Years of experience working fully remotely with a track record of self-management and accountability.
• Deep understanding of web-architecture, browser APIs & internals, Javascript (JS), and TypeScript (TS), React JS, Next JS.
• Extensive experience with React and its ecosystem.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Storybook, Cypress & Jest
• Familiarity with modern build pipelines, task runners, builders and bundlers
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in maintaining codebases with the highest clean code standards.
