The Position

ElectroRoute Japan is currently recruiting for a Sr. HR Operations Specialist to join our Tokyo office. In this role, you'll support a wide range of HR activities—from payroll and attendance to onboarding and employee support—within a diverse and collaborative environment. Working closely with labor attorneys, you'll help ensure smooth processes and contribute to HR initiatives that make a real difference. Key Responsibilities

• Manage attendance data/system for proper payroll


• Verify payroll data prepared by the external payroll vendor


• Monitor and take care of changes in employee status and ensure proper reflection in payroll in collaboration with a labor and social security attorney


• Manage On/Off-boarding


• Prepare bonus data


• Collaborate with the Finances teams to prepare payroll-related documentation/data incl for international secondees


• Respond to employee inquiries


• Collaborate with the HR Manager to optimize HR operations, and to implement strategies that support HR objectives


• Lend a hand to the HR/Corporate team with HR policies, training, hiring activities, and other operations as needed

Role Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in labor management or HR operations


• Strong in payroll


• Value teamwork with excellent interpersonal skills


• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn


• Native Japanese Speaker with Business level English proficiency

In addition, the following would be an advantage:
