The Role At A Glance
Your Role In Action
- Own the full new-business cycle, from first contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and signature.
- Manage the inbound pipeline: respond to leads, run introduction calls, and guide prospects through a clear, consistent process.
- Build Hypermuse's outbound strategy from the ground up, going after the brands and partners the studio wants to work with.
- Sell across the studio's full offering: creative campaigns, AI-powered photoshoots, high-volume social content and UGC, client-owned digital IP, and the monetization of Hypermuse's own digital IP.
- Prioritize long-term partnerships and recurring retainers, and judge one-off work on whether it justifies the studio's production time.
- Lead discovery conversations and formalize what each client needs, so it feeds straight into scoping.
- Build proposals and budgets with the Head of Production, who validates feasibility, production effort, and automation level: the things that drive cost. Then lead the negotiation through to close.
- Own the client relationship through signature and onboarding, hand off cleanly to project management, and stay their commercial point of contact afterward.
- Represent the studio in the market: agencies, brands, production companies, and the wider AI creative ecosystem.
What You’re Bringing With You
- Five years or more in business development or partnerships, ideally in creative production, advertising, or media. You've owned a deal from the first call through to signature, and you've carried a target.
- You don't wait for the inbox to fill up. You know which brands and agencies the studio should be working with, and you go get them.
- You'd rather build a retainer than chase one-off projects, and you know how to run a first mandate so the client comes back.
- You can tell quickly whether a project is worth the studio's time. Profitability, production effort, fit.
- You write proposals with the production lead, not on your own, so what we sell is what we can deliver.
- Some understanding of AI image and video production. Not essential, but if you already know what it can do and what it costs, that helps.
- You're comfortable representing a studio most people haven't heard of yet.
- French and English, both fluent, spoken and written.
