Job Description - (Senior) SAP Integration Consultant

Design, build, and deploy scalable integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to connect SAP and non-SAP systems following SAP best practices
Build advanced CPI integrations including message mappings, XSLT, Groovy/Java scripts, routing logic, exception handling, and adapter configurations to support complex business processes.
Design and implement reliable messaging and persistence mechanisms using JMS queues, Data Stores, and SAP Event Mesh to enable asynchronous processing, event-driven integrations, and guaranteed message delivery
Design and configure secure connectivity between cloud and on-premise systems using SAP Cloud Connector, certificates, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SSH, Secure Parameters)
Implement and govern APIs using SAP API Management, including API proxies, policies, security configurations, products&subscriptions handling
Implement integrations using Open Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, event-based messaging, and third-party platforms to enable scalable and reusable integration patterns
Configure and manage integration environments using SAP BTP Cockpit, including service provisioning, destinations, security configuration, and environment management is a plus
Work with IT and business colleagues to develop solutions to specific problems that at times leverage existing solutions and systems
Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions

University degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field Certifications or courses on SAP CPI are a big plus
4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Integration, with a strong focus on CPI and exposure to PI/PO, API Management, BTP Cockpit
Proficiency in CPI development including iFlows, message mapping, Groovy scripting, adapters, security material, JMS queues and integration patterns
Familiarity with SAP BTP services and integration components, including Cloud Connector, Destinations, Instances and User Roles
Solid understanding of integration architectures and patterns, including synchronous/asynchronous messaging, event-driven integrations, and hybrid cloud connectivity
Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing integrations in CPI, including log analysis and root cause investigation and cross-system monitoring
SAP CPI certification is a plus
Show strong customer orientation for both internal and external stakeholders, with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude
Speak fluent business English; knowledge of German is a plus
Enjoy occasional travel to the customers
