About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Purchasing Consultant, who would join a project for our renowned Swedish client, a leading international MedTech organization undergoing a large‑scale digital transformation. You will serve as a key functional expert in procurement, enabling the modernization of global purchasing processes across a complex international environment.

This role focuses on solution design, configuration, governance, and functional excellence across the Indirect Procurement and Purchasing domain in SAP S/4HANA — with emphasis on Self‑Service Procurement and Fiori‑driven workflows.

What You Will Do:

Design & Own Procurement Processes

• Design, configure, and deploy Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes.

• Shape and optimize approval workflows that align with organizational procurement and authorization policies.

• Ensure compliance with best practices and internal governance for procurement operations.

Define Functional Governance Across:

• Purchasing lifecycle

• Approval workflow management

• Integrations with Finance and HR

• Compliance and internal control frameworks (authorization & signatory policies)

Establish Key Safeguards

• Functional validation points across design, integration, cutover, and go‑live

• Alignment with solution architects and platform teams

• Participation in architecture and technology decisions impacting procurement flows

Take Ownership Of

• Procurement functional design

• RACI for process ownership

• Definition of Ready (DoR) & Definition of Done (DoD) from functional governance perspective

Introduce Assurance Mechanisms

• Independent functional reviews

• Readiness assessments of procurement solutions

• Risk‑based process checks

Who You Are:

• Minimum 7+ years of SAP consulting experience.

• strong SAP governance and procurement expertise

• Deep experience with SAP S/4HANA MM Purchasing, PR/PO lifecycle, indirect procurement, and approval workflows

• Strong understanding of integrations across procurement, finance, and HR

• Strategic mindset — this is not an operational testing role

• Starting date: February

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Located in Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, or Hungary

• Salary: 8.500–9.500 CZK/MD

• You can work fully remotely, as long as you are based in Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, or Hungary.
