About Us

Asula is a bitcoin company focused on building the next generation of financial products at the intersection of bitcoin, blockchain infrastructure and finance. Our mission is to empower individuals through bitcoin by providing accessible, intuitive financial experiences. We’re working on our first product: a mobile app for users to easily buy, sell and borrow against their Bitcoin. This involves building out a mobile wallet with seamless onboarding, cross-chain swaps and a lending protocol.

Role

We're looking for an exceptional software engineer to contribute to development efforts across our organization. Asula uses Rust, Typescript with React/React Native in its current stack, though we expect this to evolve over time.

This role is for someone who loves to solve hard technical problems. The ideal candidate is interested in pushing the boundaries of what is possible for financial applications and blockchains.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering

• Experience building large scale systems including but not limited to real-time distributed systems, blockchains, production-grade cryptographic systems or protocolized applications (especially those that fall under DeFi)

• Ability & desire to adapt to new technologies

Nice to Haves

• Understanding of blockchain systems

• Experience with systematic trading systems and/or quantitative finance

• Active Github with contributions to open-source projects
