Compensation: $150k - $210k + Equity

This role is an opportunity to join an established engineering team as a senior backend contributor responsible for shaping core technical direction and delivering scalable, production-grade systems.
You’ll work across backend services, data-processing pipelines, dashboards, and distributed systems—while collaborating closely with mobile engineering teams and contributing to an evolving technology ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  Backend Engineering – Design, build, and deploy backend services and internal systems with an emphasis on reliability and scale.

  Complex Problem Solving – Work on data aggregation, dashboards, scalable microservices, and backend components supporting ML-driven features.

  Architecture Contributions – Participate in designing system architecture, improving backend patterns, and setting engineering best practices.

  Cross-Stack Collaboration – Work with mobile engineering teams to ensure backend systems align with product needs and industry standards.

  Technical Execution – Ship high-quality code, own features end-to-end, and support production deployments.

  
  

What You Will Bring

• 
  

  6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend specialization.

  
  


• 
  

  Expertise with AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven experience delivering software from initial design through rollout.

  
  


• 
  

  Background in consumer-facing product development (preferred but not required).

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of system design, backend patterns, and modern cloud architectures.

  Passion for technical innovation and building reliable, scalable systems.
