Accountabilities
- Support the discovery phase driven by Architecture with technical analysis, risk assessment, estimates, and PoCs.
- Convert architectural decisions into execution plans, technical backlogs, and engineering standards.
- Lead the squad technically, overseeing code reviews, practices, guidelines, and daily engineering decisions.
- Orchestrate integrations and dependencies between teams, ensuring predictability and traceability.
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering in critical transactional platforms and complex integrations.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and corporate governance.
- Execution mindset with a focus on quality and operational excellence.
- Experience in backend application development using .NET 8 and .NET 9.
- Develop, maintain and evolve REST APIs ensuring proper documentation with Swagger / OpenAPI.
- Implement and sustain microservices following architecture standards and best practices.
- Experience working in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.
- Implement messaging solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Develop unit tests using xUnit, NUnit or MSTest, applying mocking techniques.
- Use Entity Framework Core for data access and persistence.
- Version code and collaborate in repositories using GitLab.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
- Actively participate in Scrum / Kanban ceremonies.
- Contribute to story refinement and estimation using Story Points and T-Shirt Size.
- Knowledge in payment methods and billing with practical experience in journeys and integrations.
